CONCEPT
Noiseloop is an intermedia practice and artistic concept founded by art director, new media artist and creative mentor Lucian E. Matei. As an independent studio and evolving lab space, it develops conceptual works at the intersection of art and technology.
Based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Specialized in new media and theatre, Noiseloop creates immersive experiences through interactive digital arts and live audiovisual performances. The work includes video mapping, light sculptures, interactive installations, multimedia design, creative coding, surreal cinema and motion graphics.
The noise or the lack of signal: where interference turns into a creative space. An offline concept of reconnecting with the digital medium through direct, socially engaged encounters, experiencing technology as shared presence.
